A bit French, a bit German, and of course vegan and a great bon vivant!!!
I am vegan since 2008, before I was vegetarian. When I was reflecting on my vegetarian lifestyle back then, the only reasonable conclusion was to change life even more profound and to become vegan. Even milk cows will finally be slaughtered and eggs are layed by hens whereas the cocks are speared. Furthermore the breeding of animals is not even on organic farms species-appropriate and does not meet all the animals’ needs and feelings to bear a fortunate life. Just the so called “Demeter” farms are in my point of view admissible.
In the beginning I had to deal with some difficulties to find suitable substitutes for the “old” products. I wasn’t well versed with flavors and nutritional values and had to try a lot of different products as well as cooking methods. That took some time, but it was worth the effort.
Nowadays I became a little passionate baking-faerie. I love to fondle my ingredients into the mixing bowl and to lull my dough into sleep. There is no limit for vegan cooking and therefore I see myself sway the cornet till the sweet smelling end of my days.
I am always open for requests and suggestions and as English is not my mother tongue for some linguistic corrections as well.
